Classes are held at ware house comedy theater

all levels are taught by rachel ware. Rachel has over a decade's worth of teaching experience and almost 15 years of improv performance. she focuses on staying grounded, knowing your scene partner, and playing the (sometimes long) game. Ware House Theater focuses on relationship based game play and always is asking "what else is true?"

Joe Bill weekend

Joe Bill is widely regarded as one of the best teachers of Improvised Storytelling and
Scenic, Longform & Duo Improvisation in North America today. He is one of the
founding members of Annoyance Theater Chicago where, for 12 years, he performed
in and/or directed more than 60 different shows. Joe is ½ of the first touring Improv Duo
in North America, BASSPROV, created in 2000 with Mark Sutton. They are still
performing at Festivals and theater engagements globally 25 years later. Since then Joe’s been touring all over the world teaching, directing, and improvising with several other amazing Duo Partners like Patti Stiles (Our Play), Jill Bernard (SCRAM!),
Stacey Hallal (Stacey & Joe, We Slept Together) Lee White (Paradigm), Heather
Urquart (Blues Hammer), Felipe Ortiz (Les Disciplinos) and David Razowsky
(Razowsky & Bill), ALL in different, original formats and styles.

Character Commandos

Create Characters and sketch material using improv techniques. Learn the elements of character creation, as well as the Commando and Co-Montage forms to quickly generate hilarious characters for the stage. This class

Taught by Michael Bonow: a Chicago-based comedian, writer, and actor originally from Atlanta. A graduate of The Second City Conservatory, he specializes in smart, character-driven sketch comedy and improvisation. Michael has performed with Second City ensembles, Dynamic El Dorado, RoleCall Theater, and Whole World Improv Theatre, and has written, directed, and starred in original sketch revues. He also appeared on MTV's Revenge Prank. Whether on stage or in the writers' room, Michael brings sharp writing, memorable characters, and an energetic performance style that connects with audiences.
